Over the last three years I’ve been scoring film and working on mixed media artwork. Most recently I’ve been trying  to find an interesting way of approaching the release of my new music.

I wanted to come up with one cohesive project that would allow me to combine and release everything I’ve enjoyed doing creatively without the constraints of a label.

I’ve decided the best approach is for the artist to directly involve the fans. I will be offering the initial limited edition music and artwork with every donation tier. Ultimately the resources will fund the following;

• Mixing and mastering the recordings
• Establishing the record label Nuevo Leon Music
• Initial pressing of the album on both CD and vinyl
• Promotions for the album once it’s released
• T-shirts and all artwork plus merchandise

This will not only include my latest work, but special remixes by CALLA band mates and the first CALLA tracks to be recorded in three years. I look forward to communicating with you directly about the process and giving you frequent updates on my progress with the artwork and recordings.

I have also decided to donate 10% of the gross donations to www.unicef.org. My choice for this donation is for the global effort to which Unicef dedicates itself.

When you contribute you will immediately receive a link to download the score for Zarte Parasiten (Tender Parasites). This score was composed by me for an independent German film. The score was nominated by the German Film Academy (Deutscher Filmpreis) in 2011. The movie was directed by Oliver Schwabe and Christian Becker with whom I have had a close working relationship for many years.

I will be offering limited edition one off silk screened T-shirts, numbered original vinyl and CD artwork, special video projects and custom commissioned art work. I am especially excited about this part of the project. It combines all aspects of what I love to do in order to achieve the final goal of creating music directly for you.
